About us

Think Pink was established in 2004 by Sarah Softley, who was joined by friends Ruth Thurston and Katie Barker, to collectively raise money for breast cancer charities, as they had all been touched by this terrible disease.

They decided to hold a ball, which has since become a bi-annual event and one of Norfolk’s biggest fund raising balls.

Since their inaugural event in 2004, they have raised over £52,000 which has been distributed to worthwhile charities such as Breakthrough Breast Cancer and the fund for the breast cancer care unit at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King’s Lynn.

The committee has grown and shrunk as members have joined and left over the last 6 years, and now consists of Sarah Softley, who runs Norfolk’s most successful event company Softley Events, Ruth Thurston, self employed business woman and Rotarian, and Anna Stevenson, who runs pr and marketing agency, Stevenson Consulting. They are supported year on year by some fantastic companies and partners, such as Brian Fisher & Sons, Northwood UK, Gareth James Design and Lucid Digital Media.
